Today I am taking a "snow day", actually I am using my personal day to stay home. Not that we have any snow, I am just waiting for it. They say even though it has rained all night, the freezing rain is on its way. After the freezing rain, we get the snow! Or, so they promise.
I love snow days. Just staying at home and being with family. I do miss the knee deep snows we had when I was younger. I can remember one year we went to school very little in the month of January. Not sure I miss that.
I did enjoy spending the entire day with my mom and sister. At some point in the day I would walk next door to my Granny's house. So, today I am just going to enjoy the day with my kids. One is out of school and one was told to take the day off, not much house moving in this weather.
So, decisions to make - chocolate chip cookies, fudge pie, chocolate pie, cup cakes....what should we make today?
