More technology

My wonderful husband was the last in our family to buy a new cell phone. He had not upgraded in almost 4 years. Yikes! He has never enjoyed the process of learning to work a new one. He has the mindset of, if it still works then why buy a new one. He was the last one to change from the old bar phone to a flip phone and now the last be to upgrading to a new smart phone. Amazingly, he has the one with the most features now......he has Siri. He may actually send more than 1 or 2 text messages a month now. Of course I have spent two hours setting it all up for him. His main requests were to have The Weather Channel app, a Craigslist app, and the WSM AM 650 app. I might regret downloading that Craigslist app.

More focused

I am working on being more focused and following through with things.  One goal is to get back to my blog.  I hope to snap a couple of fun pictures over this cram packed weekend.  Stay tuned!

My Pride & Joys

As Mother's Day rolls around this year - I think of two of my greatest accomplishment, my kids. But I can't take all the credit, they have a pretty awesome dad. I am truly bless to have such great kids and am very thankful they have found great people to share their lives with. My kids make every day happy for this mother!

No snow again!

Once again the weather forecasters predicted that four letter word S.N.O.W. I am thankful for the few flakes tht fell, but I do love a good heavy snow. I suppose we still have hope for a big snow this winter. And as my teacher friend Karen reminded me, a snow this weekend would have been a waste, most schools are closed ths Monday. Guess we can keep wishing for that big snow!

Really a whole month?

I cannot believe it has been a whole month since I have posted here. I have no real excuse. Life hasn't been all that busy that I haven't had time to write - I have just lacked inspiration. Maybe the lack of bright sunshiny days hasn't helped. And today we did have a beautiful day. Happy January everyone, enjoy it, it will be gone in a couple of days.
